With Android Instant Apps, users only need to tap on a link without installing the app
At Wednesday's Google I/O keynote Googke introducced Android Instant Apps with some interesting features.
Suresh Ganapathy, Product Manager stressed that “Today we're sharing a preview of a new project that we think will change how people experience Android apps. We call it Android Instant Apps, and it evolves Android apps to be able to run instantly, without requiring installation". The Google new app allow users to open any app by just tapping on a link even if the app isn't installed.
The Android Instant Apps also make possible for people to access a wider range of apps and lets users access apps from search, social media, messaging, and other deep links without the need to stop and first install the app. Users will access only the necessary modules when tapped on an app feature without downloading the entire app because the feature requires partner the apple to be buitl with modules.

To reach a billions Android users for this app, Google has made the Instant Apps compatible with Android Jelly Bean OS and later versions. The Google's Instant Apps is the same Android APIs, the same project and the same source code. So users only need to update the existing Android app to take advantage of Instant Apps functionality.
The Instant App is an expansion of the app streaming feature the company's been working on. Google also comfirms that the Instant Apps’s access will be expanded soon.
